09.18.2015 Today I did some bounty work. I remounted the helostat and but a mesh screen around the vent in the office rocket mass heater. Not a lot of work all in all but it was gratifying to finish a project or two. I got up to the lab late and started making bread. It was late and I decided to see how the bread would do with a slow over night rise.
09.19.2015 It was cold when I woke up today. Cold enough that there is frost on my bike. So the ride down was very cold, I couldn't feel my hand while riding. Still didn't make it in time to get a ride into town. That made me more then a little nettled. But then I watched "greening the desert" the video that inspired me to study permaculture. I felt a lot better. Then remembered an old sermon that always inspires me: God is the Gardener by Hugh B. Brown. It hasn't been easy here by any stretch of the imagination, I often find myself cold or hungry. Then I remember that all this hardship will be for my benefit.
Today is the day I excavate the rest of my house hole. Evan has thus far been an excellent operator and i fully expect to be working on the north berm wall by the end of the day. And also baking my bread exparent. Wish me luck all.

Hi Chris. I appreciate your introspective views. Sounds like you have a persevering spirit! I'm a bit concerned about the "cold and hungry" part. What's the best way to get you guys food provisions? I'm thinking the easiest way would be to send cash and let you guys buy what you need. Oh, if you happen to run into Josh would you do me a favor and tell him to contact his old man? Thanks!

I think that the easiest method of getting us provisions would be through Azure Standard.
